High-viscosity greases designed to create a controlled, smooth resistance to movement in precision mechanisms. This is not a conventional lubricating grease — its primary function is to add a quality feel (smooth touch, controlled opening, damped closing) to automotive interior, consumer electronics and medical equipment mechanisms. Viscosity can be adjusted between 100,000 and 30,000,000 cSt for different damping levels. High-viscosity silicone or PFPE base depending on plastic compatibility. Shin-Etsu (Japan) and Molykote dominate the market — a real opportunity for a European alternative at competitive prices.
